What is the best way to reach you?

E-mail is probably the fastest and easiest way to reach me. My computer is on all day long, and I check my e-mail at certain points in the day. My e-mail address is:  Occasionally, our email system may experience technical difficulties. If you do not hear back from me, please call the
office at 716-5500 to leave a message.

May I e-mail you if I am changing my child's dismissal procedure?

Whenever possible, it is preferred that you send in a note with your child in the morning if you are changing dismissal procedures for the day. I understand that sometimes these changes are last minute, and you can e-mail me. I just ask that you make sure that I respond saying I have received your e-mail. Sometimes technology can be unreliable, and if our system is down, I may not receive your message. If you do not receive a reply, please call the office at 716-5500 to relay the information.

Is food allowed for birthday celebrations?

No, food is not allowed as part of a birthday celebration. This is a district policy. Please feel free to contact me if you would like to plan an alternate celebration.

Is it really important to send a snack each day?

YES, and a drink is a good idea as well. We have a brief snack break every day. 

What do I need to bring to school each day?

Please bring your homework folder and agenda to school every day.  

How can I support my child at home?

Please check your child's homework folder and agenda each day for important information and notes. Your child is encouraged to complete his/her homework as independently as possible. However, if the homework was too difficult for your child, please send me a note and I will adjust it accordingly. 


If I notify you that my child will be absent, do I need to call Tele-Safe?

Yes, always call Tele-Safe to report an absence, even if you have notified me that same day or in advance. Tele-Safe is our official school method for keeping track of absences. It helps to ensure that all children are safe and accounted for. Please call 716-5500 and choose the option for Tele-Safe.
