Meet Miss Pellichero

Hello students and parents! My name is Hannah Pellichero and this will be my first year teaching at Millstone River. I have been teaching in Virginia for the past four years and I am so excited to be back in New Jersey where I grew up. I am from Plainsboro, NJ and attended West Windsor-Plainsboro schools. I even attended Millstone River as a fourth and fifth grade student myself!

I graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelors degree in Childhood and Early Adolescent Education with a minor in Special Education.

There are many things I like to do in my spare time! I enjoy traveling, going to the beach, working out, reading, and spending time with my family and friends. My family is very important to me and one of the reasons I moved back to NJ to teach. My twin sister Kelsey also teaches in the West Windsor-Plainsboro School District as a first grade teacher. I have an older sister named Samantha and an adorable dog named Toby.

Mrs. Collins and I are a fifth-grade team. Your child and I will work together in Language Arts, Math, and Science and Mrs. Collins will teach Social Studies.

Throughout the school year, I will communicate with parents through a free text messaging app called Remind. This will help us to communicate quickly and efficiently. I will make important announcements and reminders throughout the year; such as field trips, special school-wide and classroom events, standardized test announcements, etc... You can also use this app to reach me throughout the school year. I will share the registering process with you at back to school night, September 20th; however, I have provided a link below if you would like to register now. Using remind is optional. If you do not use it, you will still be made aware of announcements and reminders sent home with your child.

I am looking forward to such an amazing year full of learning, fun, and wonderful memories.

:) Miss Pellichero
