Welcome to the Speech-Language Department. Our speech-language specialists provide services in the areas of voice, fluency, articulation, language, auditory processing, and pragmatics for students with a variety of communication needs. Speech-language services are provided in the speech room as well as in the context of the general or special education classroom when appropriate. There are four speech- language specialists available at Millstone River School. Karen Dorsey works with the Preschool Program as well as fourth and fifth grade students. Betsy Clements works with students in the Autistic Program. Rowena Moore works with students in the Multiply Disabled classroom as well as the fourth and fifth graders and Jane Dennehy works with fourth and fifth grade students.
